If you're new to the AI scene and are just getting your feet wet with what this amazing software can do to simplify your life and save time, this article could be very helpful.
I was wondering what Gemini might say about some of my own books, so I asked a very simple question:

From there, I was just amazed about what Gemini was able to develop in a matter of seconds. On the one hand, this is an incredible tool: it pretty much captured my key points, philosophies, and strategies spot on. On the other hand, it left me scratching my head a bit about the need for writers moving into the future. Will AI simply be able to produce a book by prompting it to "Create a 240-page manuscript on effective management that focuses on leadership, communication, and teambuilding"?
The ability of AI to scrape data from the Internet so incredibly quickly and accurately left me as an author dumbfounded. I also found it amazing that Gemini talks to you, the reader, in the first person "I," as in "I found," "I discovered," "I believe," and "To deepen my understanding, I'll now delve into detailed summaries and descriptions of his key books."
Note as well that once I received responses to my initial query, Gemini invited me to ask it to:
"Have Gemini create a detailed research report on this topic | Try Now."
That prompt and invitation to conduct more deep-dive research clarified my request (to ensure its understanding was accurate), discussed Gemini's initial research approach, and shared its initial discoveries. From there, it provided additional research and notified me when it was concluding its report. It even provides detailed lists of the research websites that were used to form its report, opinions, and conclusions in case a reader wants to have a deeper-dive look into the underlying data sources. I left those out of the report below because the icons for the many sites took up too much space. But they'll be marked as follows in the text that follows:

Anyway, I'm not writing this LinkedIn article to publicize my books--only to use them as an example that I'm intimately familiar with. This way, I can check the validity of the information (which I can't do for any other author to the same degree). Knowing you can capture the key elements of any book or author can go a long way in building business knowledge and self-confidence in your leadership abilities. No, this doesn't capture the many examples I've provided throughout my books, which I'd argue really help cement the learnings and provide additional insights through storytelling. But there's certainly enough here to understand the core drivers of my leadership philosophy, the values that I hold, and the mindset about people leadership that I hope to convey in my writing.
Again, it doesn't replace reading my 17 books. And in this case, this particular article focused on only two of my books: (1) 101 Tough Conversations to Have with Employees and (2) New Managers: Mastering the Big 3 Principles of Effective Management--Leadership, Communication, and Teambuilding (from the five-book "Paul Falcone Workplace Leadership Series.") And that's because my original prompt contained the words "leadership, communication, and teambuilding," so the latter book title was an exact match.
